1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Tewedaj, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
2. Description of Service
Tewedaj is an online marketplace that connects property and vehicle sellers, landlords, and service providers with buyers and renters in Ethiopia. We provide listing tools, search, messaging, and optional paid listing boosts. We are not a party to any transaction between users.
3. User Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information during registration.
4. Listing Content & Conduct
You are solely responsible for the content of your listings, including photos, descriptions, pricing, and contact details. You agree not to post false, misleading, fraudulent, or illegal content. Listings that are duplicates, use stolen photos, or violate our guidelines may be removed without notice. Prohibited content includes bank statements, personal identification documents, and unrelated images.
5. Listing Expiry & Renewal
Property and vehicle listings automatically expire 30 days after publication. Expired listings are no longer visible in search results. You may renew a listing to extend its visibility for another 30-day period.
6. Paid Boosts
Boosts are optional paid features that increase listing visibility. Boost packages are offered at displayed prices and durations. Payments are processed through our payment partner. Boost benefits expire on the date shown at purchase. Refunds for boost services are handled on a case-by-case basis.
7. Messaging & Inquiries
Our messaging feature allows buyers and sellers to communicate. You agree to use messaging respectfully and only for legitimate inquiries. We may limit the number of messages per conversation. Do not share sensitive financial information through in-app messages.
8. Service Providers
Service providers (movers, cleaners, mechanics, etc.) offer their services independently. Tewedaj is not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of services performed. Provider contact details are revealed only after a booking is accepted.
9. Reports & Moderation
Users can report listings they believe are fraudulent or inappropriate. Our team reviews reports and may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
10. Referral Rewards
Referral rewards and earnings are credited to your account balance. Withdrawal requests are subject to review and may be declined. We reserve the right to reverse rewards associated with fraudulent or reversed referrals.
11. Limitation of Liability
Tewedaj is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from transactions between users, inaccurate listing content, or service provider performance. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for boost services.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
